THEME: Present Day
WILL THE STAKES GET ANY HIGHER BEFORE WE CASH OUT FOR GOOD?
CASE: A wealthy philanthropist was recently found dead in his mansion from an apparent heart attack. We have been invited to the finale estate sale by his daughter for the last remaining item known only as "The Yellow Brick Road". Her entire family has been rolling the dice with their lives over the years due to faulty security and even riskier friends.
THEME: 1970's
WILL WE ALL PEACE OUT OR END UP STAYIN' ALIVE?
CASE: It's the night of the Disco Dance Off for Muscular Dystrophy Benefit at the Briquette Police Department in Nevada and they are missing one of their own. Sargent Beau Beauregard was pronounced dead at the hospital shortly after confronting a local restaurant/nuisance bar owner during a routine safety check. Suspicion begins to mount, Jello recipes start to form, and 8-track cassettes begin to play some pretty groovy tunes.
THEME: Roaring 20's
CAN WE CASE THE JOINT QUIETLY OR GET CANNED FOR TRYING?
CASE: Something ain't on the level at the recently discovered juice joint across town. The newsie who works the block said 12 Pint Palooka's ain't the average place you dip the bill if you know one's onions. Now we got a dead boxer, a dame who drops everything and more liquor than we are not allowed to consume, unless we don't tell anybody.
THEME: Wild West
CAN WE UNTANGLE THE TUMBLEWEEDS BEFORE THE SUN SETS FOREVER?
CASE: It's a slow night at the Soggy Saddle Saloon in Prickly Hollow, Texas. It's been slower than molasses since The Thunderclap Kid came into town and drove most people to the next town over. Several mysterious deaths involving a whip start occurring and all fingers point to the Kid. Some people think if his brains were dynamite, there wouldn’t be enough to blow his nose, so they have their suspicions. Soon, the Kid finds out he has more in common with the town he's holding hostage then he realized.
